Sony Smartphone With 20 MP Camera And 2.2 GHz Processor Leaks

Bangalore: When it comes to product launches, Sony is the only one catching up with Samsung in the Android space. The Japanese manufacturer had released 8 handsets in the past 6 months including its flagship Xperia Z. The latest one to join the list is reportedly Xpeia i1, codenamed Honami, a Smartphone with mind blowing specs.


Sony is pitching this 5 inch Smartphone against Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom and Nokia’s latest 41 MP Lumia 1020. The device will have a 20 Megapixel Exmor RS camera unit supported by Sony G-lens and Bionz image processor which are usually found in some digital cameras. There will also be a 2MP front camera placed above the full HD screen with 1080p resolution.


A 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor will power this device along with 2 GB of RAM. The internal storage capacity would be 16 GB which can be further expanded. The device will pack a bigger 3000MAh battery and will run on Android Jelly Bean 2.2.


The release date of this IP57 certified dustproof and waterproof Smartphone is not yet been confirmed. However, Sony is expected to release it at a press event during IFA expo in Berlin which will be held on September 4.

#5 iPhone 5S


The Cupertino company is said to announce its most ambitious Smartphone, iPhone 5S very soon. Long before its official announcement, the device has been declared on the Internet and it is quite common prior to the launch of every Apple device. According to the speculations, Apple would like to go with standard 4-inch display size powered by IGZO.


With the upcoming iPhone 5S, the new version of iOS will also be rolled out. Specification wise, the sequel to iPhone 5 will arrive with A7X processor coupled with 2G RAM, fingerprint sensor, 12MP camera on the rear, long battery life, 4G LTE, 3G and Wi-Fi among others.

 

#4 Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom


Soon after the announcement of Galaxy S4 Active, Samsung is all set to launch a dedicated handset for camera enthusiasts. Rumored specifications of the device include a 4.3-inch screen with 960*540p resolution and 256ppi pixel density, powered by 1.6GHz dual-core processor with 1GB RAM.


It said to have an onboard storage of 8GB, microSD card support of 64GB and runs on Android 4.2, Jelly Bean operating system with TouchWiz Nature UX. The phone is expected to be announced on June 20 in London for the Samsung event and will be available in black and white color options.


#3 HTC Mini M4


Codenamed as M4, the HTC One Mini is supposed to be a mini version of the HTC One (M7) flagship powered by a dual-core chipset and running on a smaller 4.3 inch 720p display. It is likely to come with a dual-core processor along with 2GB RAM and an Ultrapixel camera.


The device will run on Android 4.2, Jelly Bean operating system along with a layer of Sense 5. The other features include 1, 700mAh battery, 16GB internal storage, Beats Audio and LTE connectivity. Speculations regarding the device started appearing back in February.


#2 Sony Xperia ZU


Sony Togari, an upcoming 6.66 inch phablet from Sony Mobiles, codenamed as Sony Xperia ZU is expected to come with a full-HD display with pixel density of about 342ppi. It is said to have X-Reality Engine and an upgraded Mobile Bravia Engine 2, powered by either Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 or 800 processor.


As per the earlier speculations, the device will come with a 13MP camera but now it suggests 8MP shooter.


#1 Samsung Galaxy Note III


Samsung Galaxy Note III is the next generation of Note from Samsung Electronics that too has leaked online. Tech websites like SamMobile have leaked the image which shows a large-screen phone with curved corners and thin bezel.


The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note III is said to feature a 5.99-inch SuperAMOLED touchscreen with 1920x1080p resolution. It is said to have a 13MP camera on the back, support S Pen stylus and run on the latest iteration of Google's Android operating system.

The new 128GB fourth generation iPad launched by tech giant Apple comes with Retina display. Priced at  49,900, it comes pre-installed with the recently launched 1OS 6.1 update. The tablet hosts a 9.7 inch Retina display with an eye-catching screen hosting a 2048*1536p resolution and 264 pixels per inch image density. The 128 GB iPad 4 features a 10 hour battery life, hosted with two integrated cameras.

Available at  11,490, Ascend G330 is powered by a 1 GHz processor with a back up of 512 MB of RAM. Videocon Mobile Phones has launched another budget Android tablet in the Indian market at a price of  4,799, Videocon VT71. It has 7-inch capacitive display with 800*480 screen resolution and runs on Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich. The tablet comes with a 1.2GHz processor accompanied by 512 MB of RAM and 3,200 mAh battery. Besides, it includes features like 4GB internal storage, Wifi, HDMI port, VGA front camera and microSD card slot that supports cards up to 32GB. The tablet also supports 3G via dongle.


# 4 Micromax Smarty 4.3 A65


The dual-SIM low cost Smartphone launched by Micromax at  4,999 runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Micromax Smarty 4.3 A65 has a 4.3 inch TFT capacitive display with a resolution of 480*800 pixels, and a 2 megapixel rear camera. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex processor and has 512MB RAM. The phone is packed with a 1350 mAh battery and an internal memory of 190MB which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot. It is expected to offer 5 hours of talktime and 200 hours of standby time.

It has an in-built microphone through which one can receive calls. It has a touch panel for controls and the glowing red LED digital display on its black body. It weighs about 137g.

Karbonn, one of the leading Indian mobile manufacturers launched its dual-SIM Android Smartphone powered by a quad-core processor - S1 Titanium. Priced at 10,990, it comes with 4.5 inches qHD multi-touch capacitive touch screen of 960*540 pixel resolution. It has an in-built memory of 4GB and a RAM of 1024MB. The memory is expandable up to 32 GB through micro SD card slot. The phone is packed of 1600 mAh Lithium ion polymer type which lasts for about 4 hours with normal usage and can give a standby time of 200 hours. It also includes connectivity options like Wifi, Bluetooth, GPRS and WAP on 2G networks, 3G network, GPS for navigation and the like.
